If the problem is persistent in monsoons you need to check the drainage system around your house. Make sure the gutters are cleaned up and free flowing and the slope around the house is not towards the walls but away from it.

Install a drainage system around the perimeter of the house and possibly a sump pump. Prevent formation of water pools in and around the house as they might seep in the house.

I would suggest you get professional help to solve this problem. Home remedies and DIY’s don’t really help.
