Skype's office in Stockholm is in a fully refurbished huge historical building, Münchenbryggeriet, adorning the Stockholm's skyline. Till 1971 the building was a brewery and now houses 100 employees of Skype in tastefully created premises by PS Arkitektur.

The idea was to replicate the playful spirit of the company along with creation of a seamless work environment. The usage of rounded furnishings and cloud like lights reflect the Skype logo and the custom made wallpaper depicts audio and video world as this office works primarily for audio and video development.

The interconnected nodes in rhomboid and triangular shapes, visible in the flooring and the design of some of the hard furniture is eye pleasing along with the usage of several furniture styles which makes the work place unique and interesting. An interesting concept altogether!
