Twister a unique restaurant located in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, is designed by Sergey Makhno and Vasily Butenko. The dining area has arrested the upward pull of a tornado represented by furnishings drifting above the floor on their slender legs.

The effect has been enhanced with light fittings imitating rain drops, and enormous sculptural columns forming the crow's-nest balconies. The walls of the bar area are covered with thatched sticks and the seats are cushioned with fabric in the form of pods or cones. The whole set up looks like a bird's nest. The color toned used are warm, giving the restaurant a serene setting contrasting the tornado effect using the avian nuances and above the ground figures.
